EXPERIENCE

At least 5 years’ experience (Safety officer Professional level).

EDUCATION

Bachelor  in Occupational Health, Chemical Engineering, Engineering (board range of discipline) or equivalent.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITY

  1. Ensure that all Safety, Occupational health and Environment at work management related activities are implement in compliance with Shell HSE Framework, BS OHSAS/ TISI 18001 standard, process safety management and Thai Law.
  2. Leading Area Production Unit (APU) Safety management program implementation improvement through sharing and facilitating best practices with other plants and by creating best means and/or channels for communications to serve this purpose.
  3. Create activities to promote safety awareness and safety campaign e.g. monthly safety activities, safety newsletters, safety day for both staff and contractors, etc.
  4. Coordinate with Area Production Unit, Engineering and Project to provide safety support in Shutdown and Start-up planning/activities.
  5. Participant in Area Production Unit (APU) Meeting to discuss on all Safety, Occupational Health and Environment at work activities to ensure that all areas are operating safely and to meet the refinery KPI ( TRCF, LTIF, Fire, LOPC and other Process Safety Indicators)
  6. Leading safety risk assessment (comply with BS OHSAS/TISI 18001) to ensure risk is well manage and prepare documentation to report to the MOI as mandatory for permit revalidation.
  7. Conduct audit, Identify and monitor/working environment, and audit of compliance to reduce potential risk on Safety, Occupational Health, and Environment at work and advise recommendation to correct and improve as needed
