ROLE & RESPONSIBILITY

Responsible for supporting and managing key Finance & Accounting activities for Thaioil Group’s power businesses, covering Accounting, Financial Planning, Treasury, Tax and Financial Risk Management, while ensuring accuracy, timely reporting, regulatory compliance and adherence to internal policies and controls.

• Manage and analyze accounting transactions, including AP/AR, receipts, payments, reconciliations, utility and natural gas cost accounting.
• Perform monthly/periodic closing and financial statement preparation, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations and BOI requirements.
• Prepare financial information and reports for management, BOD, Thaioil Group, government authorities and other stakeholders.
• Support tax planning and tax compliance, including analysis of tax treatments, rulings and potential tax risks.
• Coordinate the annual budgeting process, monitor actual performance against budget and analyze variances.
• Conduct monthly financial performance reviews, MIS reporting, annual corporate planning and long-term financial projections.
• Manage cash flow planning, liquidity and cash optimization to ensure sufficient funding while minimizing funding costs and maximizing returns.
• Support administration of loans, bonds and other debt instruments, including monitoring financial covenants and related obligations.
• Support financial and treasury risk management and provide financial solutions to business requirements and emerging challenges.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure Finance & Accounting activities are completed accurately and within required timelines.

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related fields.

EXPERIENCE

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in Finance, Accounting, Treasury, Financial Planning or related areas.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles, financial practices, financial/economic analysis and risk analysis.
• Experience or knowledge of the power plant / energy business is preferred.
• Strong analytical, coordination and reporting skills.
• Able to work across multiple Finance & Accounting areas and coordinate with various stakeholders.
• High integrity, accuracy and accountability are essential for the role.
