Technical Support Specialist

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITY

1. To analyze market trends, threats, opportunities with emphasis on technical aspects and give input on competitor 
product analyses.
2. To assist new product development/quality improvement and also new feedstock supply sources. 
3. To deliver technical support to selected external customers together with or without Sales executive on products, 
properties and applications, including reformulation advice.
4. Handle customer queries/complaints on matters relating to technical aspects and quality control and respond 
with appropriate solutions.
5. Ensure all product quality delivered to customer meet their satisfactory requirement, achieve superior quality and 
reliability levels. 
6. Ensure all operation sites/terminals operate under international standards i.e. ISO 9000/14000
7. Statistic control, regularly monitor quality of products to be consistency and alert sale team when trend to be 
abnormal
8. Develop and maintain TQA/TQC or other quality assurance system to assure that all products manufactured by 
the organization meet customer specification

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s Degree on Chemistry or Petroleum, Chemical Engineer with approximately 5 years technical experience

EXPERIENCE

- The Job requires a technical background, preferably chemical acquired either through formal education and/or 
experiences.
- Demonstrate strong technical analysis, interpretation skill, problem solving skill and knowledge of marketing.
- Drive and ability to deliver the result without supervision.
- Excellent communication and presentation skill, fluency in English.
- Ability to travel within country and aboard.
