Purpose: The Commercial Business Development Analyst is responsible for exploring and initiating new market opportunities, focusing on high-value and green products in the chemical and petroleum sectors. Success in this role requires a strategic mindset, strong analytical abilities, and effective communication skills to drive sales and revenue growth. The analyst will leverage deep industry knowledge and business acumen to develop comprehensive sales strategies and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet company objectives. Contributing to the organization's competitive edge, this role demands proactive market exploration and dynamic problem-solving capabilities.

Areas of Responsibilities:

  • Identify and assess new market opportunities for value-added chemical and petroleum products, both domestically and internationally.
  • Gather and analyze customer needs, product requirements, market risks, key drivers, competitive landscape, and customer insights.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans tailored to new markets and products, prioritizing initiatives to maximize growth.
  • Drive business and achieve company targets in sales, revenue, and profit through proactive customer engagement and market analysis.
  • Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing sales quotas and action plans to meet these objectives.
  • Coordinate with customers and internal/external stakeholders to ensure alignment and achievement of sales goals.
  • Create and refine business models and strategic sales maps to support long-term growth initiatives.
  • Monitor and adapt to global market trends, assessing their impact on potential business opportunities and strategies.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration or a related technical field


Experience:

  • At least 5 years of experience in the industry, with exposure to product sales, market development, and business expansion
